What Is GO Dispersion?
Graphene Oxide is naturally hydrophilic its surface is covered in hydroxyl, epoxy, and carboxyl groups from the oxidation process, which makes the sheets repel each other electrostatically in water. That's what allows GO to disperse well in the first place, but it doesn't guarantee long-term stability on its own: too high a concentration, the wrong pH, or an incomplete exfoliation step can still let sheets restack and settle out over time.
GO Dispersion is GO that has already been through that exfoliation and stabilization process at the manufacturer's end not on the user's bench. Single- to few-layer graphene oxide sheets are suspended in water (or another solvent, depending on the application) at a defined concentration, then stability-tested before packaging. The result is a homogeneous colloidal solution that can be poured, diluted, or blended straight into a formulation no sonicator of your own required, no guesswork over sonication time and intensity, and no sheet-size variation from one run to the next.
