TEST RESULTS

1. SEM: ZIF-67 particles have an approximate size of 1.3 microns.

2. XRD: The diffraction peaks of ZIF-67 show a sodalite structure and are consistent with the simulated XRD pattern of ZIF-67.

3. UV-Vis (optical properties): The absorbance peak of ZIF-67 is located at 598 nm, with an energy bandgap of 2.07 eV, which is consistent with previous research (1.98 eV) reported by Saliba et al., 2018, J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2018, 140(5), 1812–1823.

ZIF-67 is a microporous material with a very high surface area, making it suitable for applications such as gas storage, CO₂ capture, separation, sensing, catalysis, drug delivery, water treatment, and energy storage applications including supercapacitors and batteries.
