It belongs to the layered MAX phase family with the formula Mn+1AXn (MAX), where n = 1 to 3, M is a transition metal, A is a non-metal element, and X is Carbon (C) or Nitrogen (N). This powder consists of M = Ti, A = Al, and X = C with n = 3.

APPLICATIONS:

MAX powders can be used for lithium/sodium/zinc battery applications, heavy metal/azo dye adsorption, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, gas sensors, composites, and supercapacitors.
